On January 16, 2025, Mahindra’s XEV 9e and BE6 achieved a landmark milestone in becoming some of the safest electric vehicles available in the Indian market. The XEV 9e stood out by scoring a perfect 32 out of 32 points for adult occupant safety, which speaks volumes about its design and engineering. The BE6 scored a remarkable 31.97 out of 32, which is an indication of how dedicated Mahindra is to creating vehicles that focus on the welfare of the people inside them. In terms of child occupant safety, both models were also outstanding, scoring 45 out of a possible 49 points, which speaks volumes for the brand’s commitment to safeguarding all passengers, regardless of age.
