The BGMI tournament witnessed an incredible comeback story. Mohd Ayazuddin (Spark_XT) from Christian Degree College, Lucknow, faced tough competition in the upper bracket but fought his way back to clinch the title. Though he lost to Diptiranjan Rout (SRxRanjan) in an early round, he stormed through the lower bracket, defeating Sandeep Gupta (Matguns) 2-0 before reclaiming the championship title. With this victory, Ayazuddin secured his name in collegiate esports history and took home a whopping ₹5,00,000 prize. The runner-up, Diptiranjan Rout, bagged ₹3,50,000, and Sandeep Gupta claimed the third spot with ₹1,25,000.

Valorant Finale Aditya Rathore Neko Dominates the Arena

In the Valorant grand finale, Aditya Singh Rathore (Neko) from Amity University, Rajasthan, put on a flawless performance, securing a dominant 2-0 victory against Rakshit Rao (Bhalu). His precision, strategy, and control over the game made him the undisputed champion, earning him the top prize of ₹3,50,000. The runner-up, Rakshit Rao, walked away with ₹1,50,000, showcasing the immense talent pool of collegiate gaming in India.

The atmosphere at NESCO was electrifying, blending gaming, music, and entertainment into one unforgettable experience. Thousands of fans gathered to witness the thrill of esports while being treated to mind-blowing performances by artists like Seedhe Maut, Pho, and Dizlaw on the 91 RAP Spotify stage. Popular esports creators, including Payal Gaming, Ankkita, JokerKiHaveli, and Regaltos, interacted with fans, adding a personal touch to the event.

This season, College Rivals expanded like never before. The Gaming Truck travelled over 5,000 km, bringing esports action to 55 colleges across 22 cities. The event saw an overwhelming 2 lakh+ registrations, engaging more than 11 lakh students, a testament to India’s rapidly growing esports community.

Beyond gaming, attendees enjoyed interactive zones like the Spotify Fan Pit and PlayStation Zones, along with fun activities such as KREO’s Keyboard Typing Games. Sponsor activations from Nissin Cup Noodles kept the energy high, while a cosplay contest added a colourful flair, featuring Aditya Kalebere as Captain America, Sanskar as Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima, and Dara as Sakanji from Demon Slayer.
