From March 13 at 10:00 a.m. to March 17, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time, players worldwide will get to experience an explosion of colors, exciting encounters, and incredible rewards. This annual festival brings a special dose of excitement with unique Pokémon appearances, boosted in-game bonuses, and the highly anticipated debut of Shiny Bruxish
Event Highlights and Special Bonuses
Throughout the Festival of Colors, Pokémon GO will be bursting with special surprises! Trainers can look forward to discovering unexpected bonuses when they visit PokéStops. Lure Modules will last for an extended three hours, making it easier to attract rare Pokémon, while Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) will be active for two hours. Players using Incense will have an increased chance of encountering Bruxish, and those who take daily snapshots might be lucky enough to spot a Shiny Smeargle! The wild will be teeming with more Pokémon than usual, with increased appearances of Drowzee, Magikarp, Natu, Aipom, Meditite, Dwebble, and Bruxish. And for the first time, Trainers will have the chance to catch Shiny Bruxish—a truly exciting addition to the event.
Regional variations of Flabébé will also be appearing in different parts of the world:
- Red Flower Flabébé – Found in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
- Blue Flower Flabébé – Spotted in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Yellow Flower Flabébé – Available in the Americas.
Additionally, no matter where you are, White Flower Flabébé and Orange Flower Flabébé might also make a rare appearance in the wild!
Raid Battles and Exciting Research Tasks
The Festival of Colors 2025 is bringing special Raid Battles to Pokémon GO, allowing Trainers to challenge and capture some fantastic Pokémon. Tapu Koko will take centre stage in Five-Star Raids, while Mega Swampert will dominate Mega Raids. Trainers can also take on Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon in Three-Star Raids, making this event an excellent opportunity to strengthen their teams with powerful Eeveelutions.
On top of the thrilling raids, event-specific Field Research tasks will be available, offering exciting rewards such as Stardust and encounters with themed Pokémon.
Exclusive Timed Research for More Rewards
Both free and premium Timed Research opportunities will be available during the event. The free research will reward players with valuable items like Incense, Rare Candies, and encounters with event Pokémon. For those looking for extra rewards, a premium Timed Research ticket can be purchased for $2.00 USD (or the equivalent local currency). This ticket will provide additional benefits, including Lure Modules, Incense, Stardust, and increased chances to encounter Bruxish!
Special Bonuses for Trainers in India
Trainers in India will receive some exclusive regional perks during the Festival of Colors. These special bonuses include Branching Timed Research, One-Star Raids featuring Pikachu wearing a kurta, and a bonus of one extra Candy for catching Pokémon through raids.
