Mahindra & Mahindra, a leading Indian automaker, has introduced the BE 6, an all-electric SUV that combines modern design with advanced technology. Unveiled on November 26, 2024, the BE 6 is built on Mahindra’s dedicated electric vehicle platform, INGLO, and is set to compete in India’s growing electric vehicle market.

The Mahindra BE 6 showcases a futuristic design with bold exteriors and luxurious interiors. It is available in eight distinct colors, including Desert Myst, Everest White, Firestorm Orange, and Tango Red, catering to diverse customer preferences.
Mahindra BE 6 Performance and Specifications
The BE 6 is equipped with a 59 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of approximately 535 km on a single charge. It delivers a power output of 228 bhp and is available in multiple variants, with the base model priced at ₹18.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra BE 6 Technology and Safety
Mahindra has integrated advanced technology into the BE 6, including Level 2+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This system utilizes five radars and twelve ultrasonic sensors to enhance autonomous driving capabilities.
Mahindra BE 6 Market Positioning
With the BE 6, Mahindra aims to strengthen its presence in the compact SUV segment, competing with models like Hyundai’s Creta and Toyota’s Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The company plans to commence deliveries by the end of February 2025, with production targets set to increase from 90,000 units annually to 200,000 units by March 2026.”
