Looking to buy a home in Mumbai? Mark your calendars for January 17th to 19th! The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India-Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (CREDAI-MCHI) is hosting its 32nd Property and Housing Finance Exhibition at the Jio World Convention Centre, and it’s packed with exciting opportunities, especially for women. With more than 500 projects by over 100 developers, with special women discounts, the fair could prove a great spot for finding the ultimate dream house.

A one-stop shop for property buyers, CREDAI-MCHI promises to turn the exhibition at NSCI Stadium, Worli into a landmark show this year in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Over 100 real estate companies will be participating in the exhibition, where more than 5,000 locations will house over 500 projects. Therefore, it can be said that a buyer would be able to find the right housing option in the form of budget-friendly apartments or luxury villas, among others, under one roof.

Empowering Women Homebuyers with Exclusive Discounts

The biggest highlight of this year’s exhibition is the empowerment of women homebuyers. CREDAI-MCHI is launching a special initiative called “Pink Sunday” on January 19th, which is dedicated to encouraging women to invest in their own homes. Women buyers on the CREDAI-MCHI Mahila Awas Yojana have an additional discounted amount of upto Rs 2 lakh in making a purchase home. Thus, this shall be an above and beyond from the discount other than those issued by the building companies.

Beyond the Women-Specific Discount A Plethora of Offers

While the “Pink Sunday” discount is a major draw, other attendees can also benefit from a range of special offers. CREDAI-MCHI Secretary Dhawal Ajmera has announced that buyers can expect discounts of up to Rs 18 lakh, which could include savings on stamp duty and GST. These significant discounts, combined with the wide variety of projects and the presence of financial institutions, make the exhibition an attractive proposition for anyone considering buying a home in the MMR.

A Milestone in Simplifying Home Purchases

CREDAI-MCHI President Dominic Romel emphasized that this year’s exhibition represents a significant step towards simplifying the home buying process. The “Book Your House in 10 Minutes” initiative, along with the wide range of participating developers and financial institutions, aims to make the experience more efficient and accessible for everyone. The special focus on women homebuyers with the “Pink Sunday” event and the Rs 2 lakh discount further demonstrates the organization’s commitment to making homeownership a reality for a wider segment of the population.
