What Are the Passing Criteria
To successfully pass the Bihar Board Class 12 exams, students must secure at least 33% in each theory subject and 40% in practical subjects. If a student fails to achieve the required marks in more than two subjects, they will not be considered as passing.

Looking at past trends, the Bihar Board has been consistent in declaring results within 40 days after the exams. In 2024, the results were announced on March 23, with an overall pass percentage of 87.21%. The pass percentage for different streams was 87.80% for Science, 94.88% for Commerce, and 86.15% for Arts. In 2023, the exams concluded on February 11, and the results were out on March 21, marking a 38-day gap.
