SSC GD 2024 Results: Hello friends, we have some exciting news for all the candidates who appeared for the SSC GD Constable 2024 exam! The much-awaited final results are out, and you can now check the merit list and cut-off marks directly on the official website, ssc.gov.in. This marks a significant milestone for many aspirants who have been eagerly waiting to see the fruits of their hard work.
The SSC GD Constable 2024 examination, conducted between February 20 and March 7, 2024, in computer-based mode, saw an overwhelming number of candidates competing for a bright future. The results for the computer-based test were earlier announced on July 10, 2024, and now the final selection list is available. However, 845 candidates’ results are withheld due to court orders or suspected irregularities.
Female Candidates: A Step Towards Equality
This year, a total of 4,891 female candidates have been selected across various categories. Out of 5,150 advertised vacancies, these women have achieved remarkable success, with 2,197 candidates securing positions under the unreserved category. Unfortunately, none of the ex-servicemen (ESM) category vacancies were filled, but the overall results showcase a step toward gender diversity in security services.
Male Candidates: Record Numbers Selected
The male category witnessed even more fierce competition, with 39,375 candidates being selected against 41,467 advertised vacancies. This includes a whopping 16,825 candidates under the unreserved category and significant representation across other categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and EWS. Additionally, 753 ex-servicemen successfully secured their spots, reflecting their continued dedication to serving the nation.
