Actor Allu Arjun returned home after 18 hours on Saturday morning after spending a night in Chanchalguda jail. His wife, Sneha Reddy, and their two children were waiting to welcome him. A video showed Sneha hugging Arjun tightly as soon as he arrived. She was emotional, and their children, Ayaan and Arha, hugged him.
Why Allu Arjun Was in Jail?
Allu Arjun was sent to jail on Friday because of a stampede at his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule screening. The incident happened at Sandhya Theatre and caused the death of a woman and serious injuries to her son. The Telangana High Court granted him bail on Friday evening. However, he was not released that night because the jail officials did not get the paperwork in time. Arjun was finally released on Saturday morning.
What Arjun Said After His Release?
After coming out of jail, Arjun spoke to reporters. He said, “I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate with the authorities. I am very sorry for what happened. I send my condolences to the family of the victim. When Arjun came home, his wife Sneha hugged him for a long time. Their children were also happy to see him back. Before his arrest, Arjun had kissed Sneha on the cheek and tried to comfort her as she was upset.
Why is Allu Arjun Lawyer Not Happy?
Arjun’s lawyer, Ashok Reddy, criticized the jail authorities for not releasing him on time. He said they will take legal action against the delay. Later, Arjun thanked his fans for their love and support. He said, “I am fine. There is nothing to worry about. Thank you for standing by me.
