Jaipur was at the forefront in this matter, where the occupancy of the film was 42.50 per cent, and 156 shows were run. The film had a strong hold in Chennai, and the occupancy was 30.33 per cent. Delhi-NCR recorded 30.25 per cent occupancy with 1088 shows. Mumbai saw 23.25 per cent occupancy in 802 shows. In contrast, Surat had only 15.75 per cent occupancy, which could be a matter of concern for the film.

‘Kesari Chapter 2’ is not just a period drama; it gives space to those unheard voices that were suppressed after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
