OnePlus 13 Chinese launch event is expected to take place sometime in October, but the news itself has already distributed much excitement. Along with that, some leaked renders of the smartphone have also cropped up online through Weibo. This flagship will now occupy the high-end smartphone market as OnePlus readies for its launch. The phone is enabled with the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the camera setup has also been redone and enhanced, so the OnePlus 13 would be a high-step-up model from previous ones.

OnePlus 13 latest design

The design of the OnePlus 13 is more understated yet most profoundly changed as far as the siblings are concerned. The biggest change apparently of the camera module has been highlighted in the leak images shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo. Unlike the previous versions of OnePlus, where the camera island blends well with the frame, this time around, OnePlus seems to have placed the camera module separately in a circular layout sticking out from the left side of the phone’s back.

Another thing that you can see in the new design is how the Hasselblad logo was shifted from the camera island to the right side of the camera. This new location, combined with the thin line of decorative metal, brings a cleaner and minimalist look to the phone, something most users would love without a doubt.

OnePlus 13 Performance

The OnePlus 13’s processor is the biggest talking point of the said smartphone. This mobile will probably use Qualcomm’s future Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, formerly known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which it promises great improvements in performance and energy efficiency, mainly due to the Qualcomm company’s new Oryon cores. It will officially debut during the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit on October 22, and one of the OnePlus 13 might be the first smartphone coming with this new chip, Snapdragon 8 Elite.

With the addition of Snapdragon 8 Elite, the OnePlus 13 is going to ensure it will be a high-power performer with speedy and smooth performance. Such high-performance upgrades would be a big relief for people who heavily rely on their phones to work at hand, which might include heavy gaming, multiple tasks, or heavy applications that require processing power. In such ways, OnePlus can even take the lead over Xiaomi and Oppo by making the first gadget using Qualcomm’s new technology.

OnePlus 13 Battery and Charging

OnePlus has always done rather great with battery life and charging capacity, and this seems to be applied in the new device as well. According to rumours, a new OnePlus 12 version will boast a much larger 6,000mAh battery, nearly 600mAh bigger than what was seen on the predecessor OnePlus 12. Long hours are teased by this extended time usage for those users always on the go and in need of more time between recharge cycles.

On charging speeds, the OnePlus 13 will feature a 100W wired charging speed and 50W wireless charging. This way, users will be able to top up their phone when needed through either a cable or simply charging by a wire. By such charging speeds, users will forget to wait for their phones to charge up again and will be back on their daily activities.

OnePlus 13 Price

The price has not been confirmed, though, as the phone hasn’t been launched yet. However, being a flagship, it’s going to be an expensive device. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, premium camera setup, and large battery, the OnePlus 13 is going to cost at the higher end of the price scale.

Going by the trends associated with OnePlus flagship models thus far when it comes to pricing, the OnePlus 13 is expected to start around ₹55,000 to ₹65,000 in India or about $700 to $850 in international markets. However, this estimate may vary with different variants across storage types and the regional plans they have as well. We can only wait for the company’s official launch of the product and its price to know that for sure.
