Amaran: The Sivakarthikeyan-Sai Pallavi starrer biographical drama film was released on Diwali and the movie was a big hit. Later, the movie premiered on Netflix on December 5. In this movie a particular secen where accidentally exposed a Chennai college student’s phone number. After this college students reached court against the filmmakers for featuring his phone number in scenes resulting in receiving continuous calls. Vageesan demanded Rs 1.1 cr in compensation and demanded that the CBFC issue a new certification for the Amaran makers.
Amaran Makers Remove Controversial Scene Following Legal Dispute
The film producer has now confirmed that the particular scene has been removed which was accidentally exposed. A scene where Sai Pallavi exchanged phone numbers with Sivakarthikeyan and also numbers displayed in the song of the film. Due to this scene, the Chennai College student received more than 4,000 calls from fans of Sai Pallavi.

Amaran movie is based on the biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan’s life. Which is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The movie draws inspiration from the book India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. Sivakarthikeyan portrayed Major Mukund Varadarajan, while Sai Pallavi took on the role of his wife, Indhu Rebecca Varghese. The story of the film highlights the professional and personal life of Mukund. Apart from that movie also highlights his leadership during high-stakes military operations in Kashmir.
