Step-by-Step Instructions for Making Egg Roll

1. Prepare the Filling

Start by heating 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onions and sauté them until they become soft and translucent. Then, add the chopped tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they become tender. If you like some heat, you can add a pinch of red chili powder at this point. Once the vegetables are cooked, season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.

2. Make the Egg Scramble

In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them well. Add a little salt and black pepper for taste. Heat another pan and pour the whisked eggs into it, scrambling them gently over medium heat until cooked through. The eggs should be soft and fluffy. Set the scrambled eggs aside once they’re ready.

3. Assemble the Egg Roll

Now, take your flour tortilla or paratha and warm it slightly in a pan. Once it’s warm, place it flat on a clean surface. Spread some green chutney, ketchup, or mayonnaise on the center of the tortilla for added flavor.

Next, add the sautéed vegetables to the tortilla, followed by a generous amount of scrambled eggs. You can also add a few leaves of lettuce or cabbage for extra crunch and freshness. Roll the tortilla tightly, ensuring the filling stays inside.

4. Serve and Enjoy

Once your egg roll is tightly wrapped, you can slice it in half or serve it whole. It’s best enjoyed warm with a side of your favorite dip or chutney.
