As per the latest updates, the Class 12 results are expected to be declared by the end of March, while the Class 10 results will likely be announced in the first week of April. When Will the Results Be Announced

Following the completion of exams, the BSEB had provided students with an opportunity to raise objections regarding any discrepancies in their answer sheets. The objection window was open until March 10 at 5 PM. Now that the board has closed the objection period, it is reviewing the concerns before finalizing the scores. The results for all streams, Science, Arts, Commerce, and Vocational, will be declared simultaneously.

In 2025, a total of 12,92,313 students appeared for the Bihar Board Class 12 exams, out of which 6,41,847 were female students and 6,50,466 were male students. The exams were conducted across 1,677 examination centers in Bihar.

In 2024, the overall pass percentage for the Bihar Board Intermediate exams stood at 87.21%. Here’s the stream-wise breakdown of last year’s results:

  • Science – 87.80%
  • Arts – 86.15%
  • Commerce – 94.88%
  • Vocational – 85.38%

A total of 5,24,939 students secured a first division, while 5,04,897 students achieved a second division and 96,595 students obtained a third division. In total, 12,91,684 students appeared for the Intermediate exams in 2024.

CBSE & CISCE Students Shifting to Bihar Board

In 2024, a significant number of students from CBSE, CISCE, and other state boards transferred to the Bihar Board. According to official records, 1,08,202 students made the switch to BSEB in 2024.
