The Renault Kwid has been a popular choice in India’s compact hatchback segment, known for its SUV-inspired design and affordability. The 2025 Renault Kwid is expected to adopt design cues from the new Duster SUV, giving it a more robust and modern appearance. This includes a refreshed front fascia, updated wheel designs, and a reimagined rear profile, making it resemble a mini Duster.
Renault Kwid Performance and Powertrain Options
The ICE version of the 2025 Kwid is expected to continue with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 67 bhp and 92 Nm of torque. Transmission options are likely to include a five-speed manual and a five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
Renault Kwid Electric Variant
Renault has confirmed plans to introduce the Kwid EV in India by 2025. The European version, known as the Dacia Spring EV, features a 26.8 kWh battery pack, delivering 44 hp and 125 Nm of torque, with a claimed city range of 295 km on the WLTP cycle. While the Indian specifications may vary, the Kwid EV is expected to be priced under ₹10 lakh, making it a competitive option in the entry-level EV segment.

The 2025 Kwid is anticipated to come equipped with safety features such as: Electronic Stability Control,Hill Start Assist, Rear Parking Sensors, Driver Attention Alert, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System These enhancements aim to provide a safer driving experience for occupants.
Renault Kwid Pricing and Launch Timeline
The ICE variant of the 2025 Renault Kwid is expected to be priced between ₹5 lakh and ₹7 lakh, with a tentative launch date in March 2025.
