Step into the Taisor and you would find a cabin that’s utterly fashionable and functional. Toyota has ensured it’s loaded with features to give you the full package, including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a head-up display, automatic climate control, cruise control, not to mention 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and hill hold assist along with a 360-degree camera, for safety reasons.
Under the Hood
The Taisor will be fitted with a 1.2-liter dual-jet petrol engine delivering an expected performance of some 90 to 92 horsepower, as much as 113 Nm of torque. With a smooth transmission, it is expected to have great balance between good performance and fuel economy. According to Toyota, the Taisor can achieve a gasoline mileage of up to 28 kilometers in a liter.
Price and Availability
Taisor can be priced around Rs. 7 lakhs, and hence it is a promising option for those in the market for a mini SUV. Official pricing and availability information are yet to be announced.
Is Taisor Creta Killer?
The Taisor has all that the Hyundai Creta boasts at its own style, features, and Toyota’s reliability tag, so it’s going to be quite a contest. But whether this is enough to usurp the segment leader only time will tell.
