Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor Loveyapa: Release Date Revealed

For those who are waiting for Loveyapa, there is exciting news for them the much-awaited romantic drama Loveyapa is set to release. Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor will be in the lead role. The makers of this movie dropped a brand-new poster for fans which is now people sharing on social media. Directed by Advait Chandan, this dreamy love story is set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025.

Makers Drop a Cool Poster

Phantom posted on Instagram a cool poster that says, “In theatres 7th Feb, 2025. Loveyapa Khushi Kapoor, Junaid Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan.” The caption says, “Situationship? Relationship? Love ka syapa? or Loveyapa? Catch it in theatres on February 7, 2025.” Fans were super excited right after the news dropped. One fan commented, “This is going to be the biggest hit of 2025!” Another added, “Wooooo…so excited for this!”

Filming Updates

According to The Hindustan Times, the first leg of filming for Loveyapa wrapped up in Mumbai, and now the leads, Junaid and Khushi, are shooting in Delhi. The crew began working in the Capital about three to four days ago and will continue for another 10–12 days. While the supporting cast is joining as needed, Junaid and Khushi will be present for the entire duration of the shoot. This film is said to be a remake of the 2022 Tamil blockbuster Love Today, which was both directed by and starred Pradeep Ranganathan.

Junaid Khan’s Acting Journey

Junaid Khan made his acting debut in the film Maharaja. This thriller drama, directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, is inspired by the Maharaja Libel Trial Case of 1862. A recent press release from Netflix described Maharaja as following Karsandas Mulji, a journalist and social reformer who was a strong advocate for women’s rights and social change. Mulji, a student at Elphinstone College in Mumbai and a disciple of the scholar-leader Dadabhai Naoroji, wrote about widow remarriage, defended the oppressed, and helped initiate reform in society.

Khushi Kapoor’s Debut in The Archies

Khushi Kapoor debuted in The Archies, which also introduced Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The Archies is an Indian version of the American comic book series set in the fictional town of Riverdale, bringing to life characters like Archie, Veronica, Betty, Reggie, Dilton, Jughead, and Big Ethel in a 1960s hill town.
