Story and characters of the film
In Raid 2, Ajay Devgan reprises his role as Amay Pathak, an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) agent who searches Dada Manhora Bhai’s property. This is the follow-up to the 2018 movie Raid, which was based on an actual Income Tax Department raid from the 1980s.
Riteish Deshmukh portrays the antagonist in the movie. In a recent interview, Ritesh stated that he has never considered playing a villain alone, but whether or not he accepts such a character depends on the plot. Ritesh acknowledged that he departed from several movies in which he played a villain because he wasn’t happy with the plots.

With an occupancy of 7.13% in the morning, 16.08% in the afternoon, and 17.99% in the evening, Raid 2 achieved a Hindi occupancy of 19.23% on Friday. This indicates that although the movie has been well-received by viewers, its box office performance declined on the second day.
Raid 2 must do consistently well the following day in order to carry on and keep its audience’s interest if it wants to have high box office results.
