Fans are eagerly waiting to watch Ranbir Kapoor’s film Ramayan. Nitesh Tiwari is directing the film. New updates keep coming about the movie. According to the latest update, the makers will soon release a short video to announce the title.
As per a report by Pinkvilla, the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) has approved the short video. The title announcement video has received a ‘U’ certificate from the Mumbai Regional Office of the CBFC. The video is 2 minutes and 36 seconds long. However, it has not been released to the public yet.
Ramayana to Release in Two Parts
The film Ramayana will be released in two parts. The first part is expected to come out in 2026, and the second part will be released on Diwali in 2027.
Star Cast of Ramayana
Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Ram. Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita, while Yash will play the character of Ravana. Other actors in the film include Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Ravi Dubey, and Arun Govil.

What Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Said
At the Waves Summit 2025, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra praised the film. He spoke to Namit Malhotra, the writer and producer of Ramayana, and said, “We are the oldest storytellers in the world. Our art, drama, and music have a rich history. When I visited your pavilion with the Prime Minister, I was amazed and impressed to see the making of Ramayana. I believe this is the right way to pass our stories to the new generation.”
