Ingredients
- For making pizza dough
- Flour – 2 cups
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Salt – according to taste
- Sugar – 1 teaspoon
- Instant dry active yeast – 1 teaspoon leveled
For topping on pizza
- Capsicum – 1
- Baby corn – 3
- Pizza sauce – half cup
- Mozzarella cheese – half cup
- Italian mixed herbs – half teaspoon
Make it like this
Sift the flour and add dry instant yeast, olive oil, salt and sugar. After this, knead the chapati like dough with the help of lukewarm water for 5-7 minutes. Now apply oil in a bowl and cover the dough and keep it in a warm place for 2 hours. In this time the dough will double and swell. Now the dough is ready to make pizza.
Toppings for pizza
Remove the seeds and cut the capsicum into thin long pieces. Cut the babycorn into round half cm pieces and put the vegetables on the pan and soften them a little for 2 minutes. Break half the dough for pizza and make a round dough. Roll the dough with the help of dry flour into a 10-12 inch diameter 1/2 cm thick pizza.
Apply a little oil in the pan, cover the pizza and bake it for 2 minutes or till the bottom side of the pizza turns light brown. Flip the pizza and put toppings on the pizza. First of all, apply a thin layer of sauce on the pizza, then apply capsicum and babycorn at some distance.
Put mozzarella cheese on the vegetables. After this, cover the pizza and let it cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes. Cook till the cheese melts and the pizza base turns brown from the bottom side. Keep checking the pizza every 2 minutes. When the pizza is ready, put herbs on top, cut it and serve it hot.
