The state government has brought great news for lakhs of government employees and pensioners. The Chief Minister has announced that under the Seventh Pay Commission, the Dearness Allowance (DA) for all government employees and pensioners will be increased from 53% to 58%. This change will be effective from January 1, 2025.
Who Will Get This Benefit?
It is learned that employees of state government-run departments, as well as civil and family pensioners, will receive the benefit of this DA increase. Employees of local autonomous bodies and aided educational institutions will also be included.
