The government of Odisha is actively attempting to empower women financially by schemes in several schemes. Recently, ₹5,000 each was deposited into the bank accounts of 20 lakh women.
The government has already provided more than ₹1,000 crore under the scheme.
Presently, 4.59 lakh women are registered under the scheme, and 3.37 lakh women have been disbursed the first installment of the third phase.
