Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Vamika Gabbi’s film Bhool Chook Maaf is set to release in theatres on Friday, May 9. This is a romantic comedy film, and the stars are busy promoting it day and night.
The booking for this film started on Wednesday. Looking at the first day’s result, it seems that Bhool Chook Maaf had a slow start. However, the second day of booking (i.e., today) is still going on, and the film may see good growth by the end of the day.
3,000 Tickets Sold on First Day
According to a report by Pinkvilla, the film Bhool Chook Maaf, directed by Karan Sharma, sold around 3,000 tickets on the first day through PVR Inox and Cinepolis. Most of the tickets were sold through PVR Inox. Now, with just one day left before the release, the film may reach around 15,000 ticket sales in national multiplex chains through booking.
How Much Will the Opening Day Collection Be?
As per the report, trade experts believe that Bhool Chook Maaf, starring Rajkummar Rao and Vamika Gabbi, may earn around Rs 2 to 3 crore on the opening day. There is also a chance it might go up to Rs 4 crore (Bhool Chuk Maaf ), depending on walk-in and spot bookings.
Clash with ‘Red 2’
It’s important to note that Bhool Chook Maaf will face a box office clash with Ajay Devgn’s film Red 2. That film is already close to joining the Rs 100 crore club. Red 2, directed by Rajkumar Gupta, has already completed a week in theatres. Now, it will be interesting to see if Bhool Chook Maaf can give it tough competition.
