Box Office Failure Despite RRR’s Hype
After the massive success of RRR, the makers released Game Changer in theatres on 10 January 2025. But despite the buzz, the film failed to impress and flopped at the box office. Just a month later, on 7 February 2025, the movie was released on Amazon Prime Video, and that’s when everything changed. As soon as it arrived on OTT, Game Changer became a trending hit and has been in the Top 10 OTT list for weeks.

While South Indian viewers can watch the movie on Prime Video, Hindi audiences can stream it on ZEE5. So, fans from all regions can now enjoy the film in their preferred language.
Box Office Collection: Hit or Flop?
Despite its high budget, Game Changer only earned ₹131.17 crore net in India. Globally, including the overseas market (₹30.25 crore), the film earned ₹186.25 crore, which is less than half of its total budget. Due to this, it was declared one of the biggest flops of 2025.
It even received a low IMDB rating of 5.3 out of 10.
However, the story turned completely when the movie came to OTT, where it is now ruling as a digital blockbuster.
