She had a brief moment of dominance when she was overpowered, but after Riot nerfed her sustain, she faded into obscurity. Unlike other underplayed champions who develop loyal fan bases, Naafiri never really found her footing. But now, Riot Games is giving her a much-needed update

Naafiri’s Mid Scope Update Or Is It a Full Rework
Riot August has confirmed that Naafiri is receiving some major changes. Technically, it’s called a mid-scope update, but given the number of adjustments, it feels more like a full-on rework. Let’s break down what’s changing.
Base Stat Changes League of Legends
- HP growth per level reduced from 120 → 110
- HP regeneration reduced from 9 (+0.9 per level) → 8 (+0.8 per level)
Naafiri’s Ability Adjustments League of Legends
Passive – We Are More
- Maximum Packmates now scale from 2/3 at levels 1/9 → 2/3/4/5 at levels 1/9/12/15
- Packmate damage was slightly reduced
- Packmates now deal 50% more tower damage
- Packmates’ monster damage increased to 155%
- Packmate taunt duration reduced from 3 sec → 2 sec
Q – Darkin Daggers League of Legends
- First and second cast damage slightly reduced
W – The Call of the Pack (Previously Naafiri’s Ultimate)
- Now grants Attack Damage and Movement Speed immediately upon casting
- Hunt duration reduced from 15 sec → 5 sec
- Movement speed significantly reduced
- Cooldown drastically reduced from 120-100 sec → 20-16 sec
- No longer grants shield, packmate cooldown reduction, or vision pulse
E – Eviscerate League of Legends
- Cooldown slightly reduced
- Dash range increased from 350 → 450
- Damage reduced, but now dashes to cursor instead of full distance
R – Hounds Pursuit (Replaces Naafiri’s Old W Dash)
- New Feature: Can be recast once if Naafiri gets a takedown within 7 seconds
- Damage massively increased
- No longer blockable, and can’t be cast on minions
What’s Next for Naafiri League of Legends
While the full patch notes haven’t been released yet, it’s clear that League of Legends Naafiri’s changes are the biggest highlight of Patch 25.06. Her old ultimate has been swapped into her W, and her entire ability kit has been overhauled. This rework could finally give her the fresh start she deserves and help her carve out a proper role in the game. With such significant changes, we’ll have to see how she performs on the PBE before drawing any final conclusions.
