Indian batter Sarfaraz Khan, who was often criticised for his weight, has now silenced his critics. On Friday, Sarfaraz was selected for the India A team for the upcoming tour of England. After going unsold in the IPL, the 27-year-old has been working hard to improve his fitness. In the past month, he has lost 10 kg to stay fit.
Sarfaraz Khan Lost 10 kg of Weight
Indian cricketer Sarfaraz Khan has lost 10 kg in recent weeks. For the past few months, his entire family has been following a weight loss routine, and the results have been impressive.
On medical advice to avoid knee surgery, Sarfaraz’s father and coach, Naushad Khan, also joined the mission. He lost 12 kg in just one month. Naushad said, “Our whole family is focused on losing weight.”

Sarfaraz has lost 9 kg in six weeks and is still working hard to lose more. He said, “We train in the gym for at least an hour, six days a week at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s BKC facility. I walk, and Sarfaraz jogs for about an hour. Then we swim for 30 minutes.”
Even Sarfaraz’s younger brother, Moin Khan, has lost a lot of weight.
Sarfaraz Was Benched During the BGT Series
During the 5-match Test series against Australia, Sarfaraz was not given a chance to play in any match. His last appearance was in the third Test match against New Zealand.
In his career so far, Sarfaraz has played 6 matches, scoring 371 runs at an average of 37, including 1 century and 3 half-centuries.
