IPL 2025 has started again from today. In the first match of the return, Royal Challengers Bangalore were set to face Kolkata Knight Riders, but rain disrupted the game.

RCB fans came to the stadium with special preparation. Most of them were wearing white jerseys with number 18 on them. This was their way of showing respect to Virat Kohli. Nature also seemed to join this tribute in a special way.

Recently, Kohli said goodbye to Test cricket. However, he didn’t get a chance to play a farewell Test match. In response, a group of RCB fans requested everyone to come to this match wearing Kohli’s white Test jersey with number 18. Fans supported this idea, and the stadium was filled with people wearing that jersey. Unfortunately, the match couldn’t happen due to continuous rain and was finally called off.

Amazing View Seen Above Chinnaswamy Stadium

Nature also joined in honoring Virat Kohli. A flock of white pigeons was seen flying above the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Fans quickly captured the moment on camera. Many believed that even nature came to pay tribute to Kohli. Most fans in the stadium were wearing white jerseys, and the sight of white pigeons made the atmosphere even more special for Kohli. The entire stadium looked covered in white.

Kohli’s Test Jersey in High Demand

Due to this emotional tribute, the demand for Kohli’s Test jersey suddenly increased. On social media, people talked about how fans are crazy about his white jersey, and the same craze was clearly visible in the stadium.

Kohli’s 14-Year Test Career Comes to an End

With this, Virat Kohli’s 14-year-long Test journey also ended. He started his Test career in 2011 against the West Indies, and now it has come to a stop.

During his career, Kohli missed out on achieving some big milestones. He couldn’t reach 10,000 runs in Test cricket. Many fans believed he would break Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100 international centuries. But now that looks difficult, as Kohli will only play ODIs, and he still needs 18 centuries to match Sachin’s record. Kohli’s ODI career also may not continue for long, which makes breaking that record even more unlikely.
