Gram flour is used for several things, like in vegetables, roasted snacks, or rotis. See how to make something like that humble ingredient into wonderful sweets.

Ingredients

500 gram roasted gram flour
250 grams sugar
100 gram ghee
4 grams cardamom seeds
Grated Coconut: 100 grams
Cashew Nuts: 6-7 pieces
Almonds & Pistachios: 6-7 pieces

Preparation Method

Take out the remaining husks from the roasted gram flour by using a clean cloth. Grind it into fine powder using the grinder.
Roast the Flour: Keep a thick-bottomed pan over medium heat. Add the ground gram flour there and roast it for 5-6 minutes, tossing it continuously so that they do not burn. The roasted flour should be placed in another bowl.

Roast the Dry Fruits

Add 4 tbsp of ghee to it and fry the chopped dry fruits until they are browned. Remove and put aside. Prepare Thin Sugar Syrup: Put sugar in a clean pan, and when it is warm, mix in roasted gram flour very slowly. Mix sugar syrup while adding roasted gram flour in order to prevent lumps.

Shaping Laddus

Now, allow the mixture to cool slightly, then you can give your desired shape. Create barfis by putting the mixture on a plate and cutting them into square shapes. Roll the mixture into small balls to get the traditional laddu shape. These gram flour laddus are not only beautiful to look at but also mouthwatering.
